Suburbs we cover here: Sandton CBD, Sandown, Illovo, Strathavon, Atholl
Wierda Valley sits immediately beside the CBD and carries much of its overflow: corporate offices, consulates and serviced buildings, almost all with basement parking and a service entrance at the back. The doors are commercial duty and they are nearly always behind access control.
Parkades and access control
A Wierda Valley basement usually has a boom at the street and a shutter at the ramp head, commissioned by different contractors at different times. That is where the familiar faults come from: a shutter that closes too early, or one that stays open long enough for a second car to follow in. We integrate the operator with your existing reader, boom and intercom and set hold-open timing to how long a car actually takes on your ramp.
Security and after-hours
These buildings empty completely at night, so ground-floor openings and service doors get anti-lift specification and guides fixed into structure. Installation is generally early morning or after close, and most buildings want a contractor induction and permit first — give us the building at survey and we arrange it in advance rather than losing a morning at the security desk.

Common questions
Roller doors in Wierda Valley
Yes, and on a Wierda Valley basement it is most of the value. We tie the operator into the boom, reader and intercom and set the timing to your ramp rather than to a factory default that lets a second vehicle tailgate.
Yes. Tell us the building at survey stage and we complete the induction and permit before the installation date, which is normal practice for corporate buildings in this area.
Same day. We are a few minutes away and the emergency line runs 24 hours, which matters when a stuck basement door means several hundred people cannot get their cars out.
